 TAE KWON DO

 

Tae Kwon Do meets in the gym on  Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30pm, Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30pm and Saturdays from 10:00am – 1:00pm

First Class is Free!

Join 3rd Degree Black belt Instructor Ann Kwiatkowski in the discipline of Tae Kwon Do. Group meets three times per week. Available for ages 5 and up. Pre-registration required.  See instructor for more information regarding registration.

PRESCHOOL For children between the ages of 3 and 6 with a focus on being comfortable in the water and learning basic swim strokes and safety. There will be 2 levels: Swimmers and Non-Swimmers. YOUTH For Children 1st grade and up *Beginners: This class is for children who have little or no swimming skills. It will focus on being comfortable in the water and learning basic swim strokes and safety. *Intermediate: For those children who have some swimming ability. It will focus on endurance, rhythmic and rotary breathing and an introduction to back stroke. *Advanced: This class is for those children who know freestyle with rotary breathing. It will focus on improving freestyle and backstroke and introduce breaststroke and Butterfly. Children must be able to swim 50 yards without stopping.

Session I June 10th- June 27th Intermediate/Advanced 10:30 – 11:00 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Preschool 11:05 – 11:35 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Beginners 11:40 – 12:10 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs

Session II July 1st – July 18th Intermediate/Advanced 10:30 – 11:00 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Preschool 11:05 – 11:35 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Beginners 11:40 – 12:10 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs

Session III July 22nd – Aug 8th Intermediate/Advanced 10:30 – 11:00 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Preschool 11:05 – 11:35 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Beginners 11:40 – 12:10 Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs Make up classes will be scheduled by the instructor.

No more than one make up class per session. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. PARENT MUST REMAIN ON-SITE DURING LESSON, UNLESS CHILD IS ENROLLED IN ANOTHER PROGRAM. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR FAMILIES IN NEED. Community Recreation is a creative partnership between Community Christian Church and Friendship Centre at HighPoint Programming, a non-profit organization.
